Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
- We don't store your chats. Conversations, files and answers stay on your own computer.
- Our servers keep only your account: your name, your email, and the API keys you choose to save, encrypted.
- Your questions go straight from your computer to the AI companies you connect, under your own accounts.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your data to train AI.
Who we are
LetArgue is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that lets you use AI services you already have, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok, in one place. In this policy, "LetArgue", "we" and "us" means the team behind LetArgue. You can reach us at support@letargue.com.
What we store on our servers
When you create a LetArgue account, we store only what's needed to run it:
| What | Why | How it's kept |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | To sign you in, and to send a code if you reset your password | Stored with your account |
| Your display name | To show your name in the app on all your devices | Stored with your account |
| Your password | To sign you in | Never stored as text: only a one-way salted hash |
| API keys you save | So your AI, voice and speech-to-text keys work on all your devices | Encrypted before storage; you can replace or remove each one in the app |
| AI sign-in backups (only if you turn on "Back up") | So a new computer is signed in to that AI for you | Encrypted before storage; turning the switch off deletes it |
| Your account ID | A number that identifies your account if you need help | Stored with your account |
We also keep short-lived technical records needed to run the service: sign-in sessions, and password-reset codes that expire after a short time.
What we don't store
- Your chats. Your questions, the AIs' answers, debates, group chats and task results are saved only in a file on your own computer. They are never uploaded to us.
- Your files and screen. Files you attach, and screenshots taken when an AI uses your computer or points at something, are sent only to the AI you chose, and are not kept by us.
- Your voice. Speech is turned into text by your computer, or by the speech-to-text provider you pick. We don't receive recordings.
- Your AI passwords. When you sign in to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or another AI, you sign in with that company directly.
Where your data goes
When you use LetArgue, your computer talks directly to the services you connect:
- AI companies you connect (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Meta, Moonshot, OpenRouter, or your own local AI): they receive your questions, attached files and screenshots, under your account and their own privacy policies and terms.
- Voice providers you connect (for example ElevenLabs, Deepgram or AssemblyAI): they receive the text to speak, or the audio to turn into text, under your account.
- Cloudflare hosts our account service and sends password-reset emails on our behalf.
We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, and we don't use it for advertising or to train AI models.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details and saved keys for as long as you have an account. Removing a key or a sign-in backup in the app deletes it from our servers straight away. To delete your whole account and everything we store about you, email support@letargue.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it.
Chats on your computer are yours to keep or delete. Removing a conversation in the app deletes it from that computer, and uninstalling LetArgue removes the app.
Security
Keys and sign-in backups are encrypted before they're stored, and connections to our service use HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your computer protected.
Your rights
You can see, change or remove your name and saved keys in the app at any time. You can also ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@letargue.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as the GDPR or CCPA, and you can contact your local data protection authority.
Children
LetArgue is not meant for children under 13, or under the minimum age in your country, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email.
